Solanum centrale seedling149 viewsThis is my first Solanum centrale seedling, so far, two have germinated, one has damped off and will most probably cark it but the one pictured is responding well.
Germination took approx five weeks but growth has been fast. At first it looked just like a "normal" tomato seedling until the first true leaves emerged which are oval, slightly hairy and little spines are beginning to appear on the stem. planthunterAug 07, 2009

Acacia victoriae seedling45 viewsThis is one of my Acacia victoriae seedlings sown at end of June. Seed bought from Outback Chef. All but one seed germinated after hot water treatment, rapid germination, first from within 24 hours. Juvenile foliage already changing to adult phyllodes. They are quite unruly and tend to grow in any any direction. Lovely plants. Not sure what I'm going to do with them all :)planthunterAug 07, 2009
