Gotu Kola?

Postby mrgs » Tue May 17, 2011 10:54 pm

Hi, I have been looking around for wild edibles, and have been seeing a few gotu kola lookalikes, like native violet and kindey weed, so I think I must be getting close to the actual gotu kola plant. Anyway, I found this and thought it could be gotu kola, so was hoping I could get an ID and hopefully a few tips so I can correctly identify any gotu kola before consuming.

Thanks for any help!

I don't think it is Gotu Kola

I don't think that is gotu kola , i picked up a plant from a herb nursery on the gold coast and the leaves are rounded not jagged edged, and it grows best in those self watering pots if you can get your hands on a plant. good luck.
