Just a quick note: Your forum rank is assigned automatically based on the number of posts you've made.

The rank names "Little Aussie Battler", "Dinkum Sheila", "Bludger" etc are JOKES, people! They're assigned AUTOMATICALLY and will change depending on the number of posts you make.

They're meant to be tongue-in-cheek reflections of Australia's laconic & distinctive phraseology.

I got an enquiry recently about this, somebody was offended by their rank! To avoid misunderstandings in future, I decided to clarify the matter by posting this thread.

Thank God , for that when I posted my occupation as crane operator and it bounced straight back as "Bludger" I thought the worlds best kept secret was out I was really happy with the title ,does that mean I'll have to do some work now

you know i never realized that 'bludger' was an offensive term to some people until i created this rank!

i always thought it was good to be a bludger.... work smarter, not harder

I only got offended when I lost my title now that I'm a little Aussie Battler people might have expectations , I was quite happy with the title , I didn't know you could offend an Aussie unless of course,,, we lose a horse race , boat race , fotball , cricket ,soccer , (better stop I'll run out of ink) , Thanks Proud Aussie Bludger , who would rather spend his days wandering around the bush than going to work exept for the fact he'd starve ,, Ian AKA Bunyanuternie ,

Coulda been worse - mightta had a title "underarm bowler" aka Chappel, you know the Kiwi's are still bleating about that little effort 3 decades later!
