Unknown plant growing

I have a plant growing , looks like a honey myrtle and smells like dettol, anyone have any ideas on waht it is and what it could have been used for?

Don't be embarrassed! I still don't know how, after all these months, altho I can manage to insert them to the photo gallery (link at left)

I hope someone can help you - otherwise you could email the photo to me and i could post it in the gallery if you like.

just press the "email" button underneath her post i think - that sends an email to her address(via the web forum). You don't need to use your regular email program.

You could also submit it to the local Herbarium.

i moved this to a different section, hope that's ok. yeah i reckon melaleuca, like darcy. Esp. if it smells like dettol! Melaleuca linariifolia?
