Any growers of native succulents out there?

Postby boylesg » Wed Jun 29, 2011 12:01 am

Anyone got any Sarcocrnia, Pacicornia or Tecticornia in their garden or nearby.

I would like some cuttings of these and will swap for cuttings of seeds of stuff I have.

I've been after the native boxthorn, Lycium australe for donkeys years. It is supposed to be very common in some parts of SA and western Vic. It would make an interesting bonsai and would also be a great addition to collections of enthusiasts who specialize in xerophytic and succulent plants. It is a wonder it is not more widely available. I have never been able to source seed and no nursery has ever stocked it as far as I am aware.
