Rhyncharrhena linearis seed wanted.

Postby planthunter » Mon Jul 21, 2008 11:46 pm

I am after seed of Rhyncharrhena linearis, common name "Bush Bean"
In return I have fresh seed of Marsdenia australis, common name "Silky pear" to swop in return. The seed was collected in March this year and I have strong healthy plants growing from seed sown in April.

Although this is my first choice, I would also swop for any seed of Citrus glauca, common name "Desert lime"

Thanks,

Planhunter.

I have Rhyncharrhena plants growing on a trellis setup. They are nowhere near as vigorous or productive growers as the Marsdenias which is surprising given the bush bean is native to the farm here in Outback Western Australia. The prvinance of the Rhycharrhena is in fact from the Cue area of the pastoral country. I am not sure how well my vines have podded up this summer but can keep an eye out. They are probably around 5 years old.

I have 2 desert lime plants which are all spent on fruit but should have fruit again in Nov-December.

If you're still needing seed then, email me.

Cheers,
Clint
