Hi Everyone< I have just joined the bushfood site & I am very interested in obtaining Information on any books & authors on Australian Herbal medicines& there usages. If anyone could recommend any books for me I would be grateful. I would like the books to have pictures of each plant. Their location & medicinal properties. Kind Regards. Totogor

Hi and welcome to the site. There's a site search facility where you can find answers to questions such as these. Off the top of my head I can recommend Koorie Plants Koorie People, by Nelly Zola and Beth Gott, but you'll find much more info with a site search.

The above are all food plants, but have some medicinal accounts.
The 2 best medicinal books that I have come across are;
Cribb, A.B & J.W. Wild medicine in Australia.
Lassack, E.V. & McCarthy. Australian medicinal plants.

They both have a few coloured plates, but for the most part, you will require additional ID books or online sources.
