Australian aphrodisiacs?

Postby Michaelangelica » Sat May 29, 2010 7:37 pm

Do any of the tribes/nations feel there are good Australian aphrodisiac plants?

Before you start sniggering and knuckle dragging, most Asian ones have been found to be "adaptogens"--incresing stamina and performance in all activities. Many have good effects on blood, blood supply (essential for a male performance ), cardiovascular system energy, fatigue. Some like Horny Goat Weed have effects on the adrenals, and endocrine , immunological, CNS and cardiovascular systems.

I had heard that the Nardoo root was chewed by Indigenous Australians when they needed to go that extra 100 miles to find water. This might be a possibility, enhancing, at least, stamina.

Any thoughts?
