This book contains a good description, photos and a distribution map. Seems a relatively common species across northern part of NT across to the Kimberley.
Aust Virtual Herbarium gives a good indication of it's distribution. NT herbarium has 149 specimens alone, so this is not an obscure plant up there, although the reference to it's use is.
My guess is that it is a common plant in the Darwin area, and of course Kakadu and Arnhem land.
Shrub 1-3m high, long thin phyllodes (to 12cm), pale cream flowers in spikes, ridged woody pods.
There may be further refences to it, or probably stories/knowledge connected with it. Which as has been discussed elsewhere, may need some consideration.
