Dried native fruits

Postby boylesg » Tue Nov 04, 2008 11:35 am

I am doing a presentation about bush tucker for the local community garden and was hoping to have some samples of native fruits for people to taste.

Vic what his handle has fruit confits which would be ideal (quandong and lime) but I would also like a similar muntries and davison plum product.

Any one know a company producing these or a supplier of this stuff in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Hi Boylesg,

I can supply you with fresh frozen raw quandongs from my orchard at Nhill. You can collect them from my home in Elwood (near StKilda) - I can give you a few simple recipies if you like. Call me on 0411 248 917 if you like.

Cheers

PS: Coles stocks many of Robin's Foods native food condiments.
