Photo Gallery!

Click on the Gallery link in the Menu on the left hand side of your screen (the multi-coloured "gallery" link), and this will open up the new gallery in a separate window.

You will need to register and confirm your registration via an automated email system (don't worry, there is no waiting period involved, unlike registration for the Forum)

It's probably best to match your Forum user ID with your Gallery user ID, so people know who's posted what.

Apparently people aren't crazy about the colour combo I'll look into changing it some time soon

Just a quick note, the photo gallery is down today for what appears to be a change/db maintenance at the ISP... I'll get it back up just as soon as I can

I have a complete backup of it so it's no big deal.. wouldve been nice if they'd given some warning though

should be back up this time tomorrow.

thanks to Skipdaddyo for pointing out that i had set an unrealistically low limit on the total size of file uploads on the Gallery... it's now set at a much higher level. If you had trouble uploading in the past, try again... even if you were at your limit before, it should now work OK

I put in a registratijon request for the photo gallery more than a week ago. Any news on when that might go through?

MadHatter, there shouldn't have been any delay. I don't know the details of how it works (that's Rimbaud's department) but you could try again and see if it goes through for you. Let Rimbaud know if you still have issues.

With the forum upgrade and gallery upgrade, there should no longer be any need to register separately at the Gallery, which is good!

Pls let me know of any issues etc... (there are bound to be issues!)
