Hello from Florida

Postby Lexi » Thu Jan 13, 2011 6:23 am

Hello Everyone,

I know that I'm a long ways away from down under, but I have a growing want of knowledge and curiosity about bush tucker. Hope you don't mind me joining in.

I guess it goes without saying that I don't have any natives to trade but I would love to try my hand at growing some Aussie natives here in hot, humid, sunny Florida.

I do have access to seedling orange seeds. That is to say -- an orange that comes true from seed. Don't know if anyone would be interested, but an offering anyway.

Hey Lexi!

You aren't the only one from afar in fact I have seen a pretty decent number since I began browsing the forum a couple days back. What is the weather like in Florida right now? I bet you can guess how I feel here in the UK!

Hi Everyone,

TY for the warm welcomes.

It's been cloudy the last few days, but very warm. Near 80 degrees f a few days ago.
