Just wondering if anyone knew of any specific uses for these plants? are they edible?

Sorry for the late reply. Apparently common names for "Pterocaulon sphacelatum" are "Fruit-salad Plant" or "Applebush" (http://plantnet.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/cgi-b ... phacelatum), which suggests a form of edibility. It is apparently used in bush medicine, although I'm not exactly sure what for. It has "antiviral flavenoids": http://arrow.unisa.edu.au:8080/vital/ac ... nisa:31034.
