are south australian seaweeds and sea grass edible?

I live on the coast of South Australia and was thinking about all the seaweed that washes up on the shore. Is any of it edible? I have read a few things online about all sea weeds being edible but I'm not sure I believe anything that is so broard. Theres always one thing thats gonna get ya.

Hi Kindred and welcome to the forum. Sorry it's taken so long to reply ~ I've not been around much lately. Anyway, with this forum, your best plan of action is to first use the search facility to check whether your question can be answered by previous posts.

Here's a link to an earlier thread that might be useful

Good luck :)
